Firstly Happy New Year to you all! We were delighted to see in 2012 at Benwell Hill Cricket Club on New Years Eve. Always a great place to play, but the atmosphere that night was amazing. Fenwick and co. made us feel very welcome.

We took a short break in early January but have since thrown ourselves back into things with a visit to 3 regular venues of ours. After its recent refurbishments, we were back at The Red Lion with a very impressive crowd, particularly in view of it only being mid January, and then more recently we appeared at The Pearl Bar in Hartlepool and The Guide Post in Springwell Village. Two brilliant venues with a full house both nights for us! 

We kick off February with a return visit to The Ox and Plough in Oxclose. It's been a while since we were last there, so we are very much looking forward to it! Hope to see you there - Feb 3rd, onstage from 9pm.

Oh and don't forget to keep an eye on our Facebook page for our latest photos. We are on a mission to get as many as you guys on there as we can this year!

October 2011

Firstly, as many of our regulars will notice, we just changed our website! As you will see when you take a look around, links to our email and to our Facebook page are much easier to find. Lots more updates, new photos and gigs are to be added soon.

This month sees us return to a firm favourite venue of ours, The Red Lion at Ouston, on 8th October, followed by my best friend's wedding on Friday 14th. Just for the record I've requested Saturday night off as I suspect I will need a full day to recover! Being bridesmaid by day and the entertainment by night could take it's toll when the red wine is flowing! Towards the end of the month we are playing at The Black Bull in Morpeth, which we've only played once before, but received a fantastic reception so looking forward to that one too.

September

After a chilled holiday in the sun, I returned just in time for our debut gig at The Grange in Trimdon. A great venue where we were made to feel very welcome, thanks to Maureen and Co. We have more dates booked for 2012 already. Only a few days after that we were delighted to appear at the 'Peace One Day' event which took place at The Sage. Our thanks to Sanila for inviting us along. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon, as the photos suggest! Thanks also go to Jackie, our new official photographer, for miraculously making us look half decent (even with Lee and his new shirt!)
